Text‑to‑Speech (Free)

Use your browser’s built-in voices to speak text. No uploads, fully local. We recommend Google Chrome for more voice options. Firefox also has a few built in options.

How to use this tool

  1. Type what you want to be spoken by your browsers built in voice options.
  2. Left click with your mouse into the large white box.
  3. You can then begin typing, or delete existing text.
  4. You can also press CTRL + V on your keyboard to paste into that large white box, or CTRL + C on your keyboard to copy text from that field.
  5. Then select one of the voice options.
  6. Press the "Speak" button on the right side for the tool to begin speaking to you.
